Skill development and job generation are critical for India’s youth and it has been reiterated and focused upon by the Central Government. In this respect, the Government has taken several steps to help ease the process by working together with various entities including private companies to help achieve its aim of skill training 40.02 crore people by 2022. This is envisioned to help reduce the gap between skill sets that the industry requires and what prospective employees possess.
Understanding this, Eternity Partners LLP has taken several steps to incorporate the industry benchmarks set by Sector Skill Council (SSC) and incorporating and validating the training it aims to provide against the Qualification Packs (QPs) set by the same.
In order to provide employability in the security sector, EP offers training for Unarmed Security Guard in partnership with IndianEye Security Pvt. Ltd. (ISL) as a training partner. Our vision is to equip trainees with the right skill set and qualities required for employability in the industry. We have conducted a recruitment drive on behalf of our training partner ISL here in Aizawl, where 15 personnel were selected and trained at Belgaum, Karnataka and were immediately recruited as unarmed security guards upon completion of their training.
We have also organised a recruitment drive, Kaushal Mela, for unarmed security guard at the Information & Public Relations Auditorium, Aizawl on 16th Sept, 2016. The Mela received a good response from people interested in looking for employment in the security sector and we could shortlist several candidates for future training and recruitment among the many attendees.
Increasing energy access, clean energy development, and job creation are national priorities for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. As renewable energy gains ground in India, propelled by efforts of the Government and industry, the renewable energy sector is estimated to generate two million green jobs in the next decade. There is an urgent need to create a pool of appropriately trained manpower which could accelerate India’s efforts to go green.
Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) is one of the initiatives of the Government of India aligned to the National Skill Development Mission. It is promoted by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Their mission is to identify skilling needs of service users as well as manufacturers/ service providers, within Green Businesses sector, and implement nation-wide, Industry led, collaborative skills development and entrepreneur development initiatives that will enable India to meet its potential for “Green Businesses”.
